SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Tuesday (May 17), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,748.53 in early trade, up 0.46 per cent, or 12.47 points.
Around 251.5 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 113 to 38.
