SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Monday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,340.21 in early trade, down 0.41 per cent, or 13.64 points.
Around 55.7 million shares exchanged hands.
Losers beat gainers 92 to 54.
