Singapore shares open 0.21% higher on Monday

SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Monday (May 15), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,262.27 in early trade, up 0.21 per cent, or 6.98 points.

Around 75 million shares exchanged hands.

Gainers beat losers 84 to 54.
