Singapore shares open 0.21% higher on Friday

SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Friday (Feb 17), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,103.34 in early trade, up 0.21 per cent, or 6.65 points.

Around 171.1 million shares exchanged hands.

Gainers beat losers 112 to 52.
