Singapore shares open 0.2% higher on Wednesday

SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Wednesday (Feb 17), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,649.96 in early trade, up 0.2 per cent, or 5.38 points.

Around 90.9 million shares exchanged hands.

Gainers beat losers 65 to 53.
