SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened 0.19% lower on Monday (Sept 26), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,851.6 in early trade, down 0.19 per cent, or 5.35 points.

Around 55.8 million shares exchanged hands.

Losers beat gainers 82 to 55.
