Singapore shares open 0.1% higher on Monday

SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Monday (Jan 23), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,011.08 in early trade, up 0.1 per cent, or 2.86 points.

Around 119.6 million shares exchanged hands.

Gainers beat losers 91 to 28.
