SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened 0.03% higher on Friday (Sept 23), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,846.95 in early trade, up 0.03 per cent, or 0.89 points.

Around 25.7 million shares exchanged hands.

Gainers beat losers 58 to 45.
