Singapore shares open 0.01% higher on Friday

SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Friday (May 12), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,271.49 in early trade, up 0.01 per cent, or 0.38 points.

Around 96.9 million shares exchanged hands.

Gainers beat losers 68 to 61.
