SINGAPORE - Medical product company QT Vascular has signed deals to expand the sale of a key product in more countries.

Its so-called Chocolate® PTA Balloon Catheter will be sold in Italy, Austria, Turkey and Australia, after distribution agreements were reached.

The device is used in the treatment of blocked arteries.

Dr Eitan Konstantino, the chief executive of the Catalist-listed firm, said: "We are gratified that there is growing recognition across many countries of the clinical benefits that Chocolate® PTA can provide to critically ill patients.

"We look forward to expanding the availability of Chocolate® PTA to more countries, especially in Asia, as we receive more regulatory approvals."
