Tan Cheng Han: Resigned as non-executive deputy chairman and independent director.

Professor Tan, 52, resigned to assume his appointment as chairman of the Singapore Exchange Regulation, which is the new subsidiary company set up by the Singapore Exchange to undertake market regulatory functions of the Exchange.

His resignation will take effect from July 1. Prof Tan had served as non-executive deputy chairman since August 2007.

Mr Wong, 44, will be responsible for the daily operations of the group and report to the chief executive officer, managing efficiency of the businesses and driving sustainable growth.

He had been assistant to the chief executive officer, a role which he has held since February.

Eldon Wan: Redesignated as chief financial officer with effect from last Thursday.

His previous designation was senior vice-president for finance.

Mr Wan, 45, is responsible for all accounting, financial and tax matters.

Ng Chee Khern: Resigning as non-independent non-executive director with effect from today.

Mr Ng, 51, is relinquishing his appointment as Permanent Secretary for Defence Development and accordingly will step down from the board.
