November saw higher trading values on Singapore Exchange

SINGAPORE - The daily average value of stocks and shares traded on the Singapore Exchange's last month grew by 8 per cent month-on-month to $1.1 billion.

It was up 20 per cent from the year-ago period.

Total value of securities traded in November increased 3 per cent month-on-month to $22.3 billion and 15 per cent year-on-year.

The number of trading days last month was 20 days whereas October 2014 and November 2013 were 21 days.

November saw four listings which raised about $42 million.

There were 47 bond listings that raised about $19.4 billion in November, compared with 57 bond listings raising $11.3 billion a year earlier.
