Citibank has teamed up with ez-link to offer its commercial card customers an automatic top-up solution for payment of Electronic Parking System (EPS) and Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) fees.

Citibank is the first bank here to tie up with ez-link to offer the ez-reload corporate service, which will help companies with a fleet of vehicles manage their road charges.

They will be able to link their ez-link cards to the service using a Citibank commercial card account, which will be automatically topped up when they fall short of the stored value amount.

Citibank Singapore chief executive Han Kwee Juan said: "The benefits of this automatic top-up service extend beyond being just a convenient payment solution.

"Our customers, especially those maintaining a large fleet of vehicles, will find this service beneficial in helping them to better streamline their business operations, and manage their cash flow and expenses."

Up to 1,000 ez-link cards can be linked to a Citibank commercial card account. Companies will also have the flexibility of choosing a top-up amount of $20, $30 or $40. The administrative fees for top-ups will be waived from Nov 1.

ez-link chief executive Nicholas Lee said: "This service is our first foray into providing business solutions to support corporate needs.

"With this service, businesses are now able to effectively manage the disbursement and reimbursement of ERP and EPS usage of their fleet, eliminate unwarranted spending due to insufficient card value, and improve operations through tracking reports. These capabilities will enable them to increase their operational productivity."

Companies will also get access to detailed usage and posting reports generated by ez-link for account reconciliation purposes when they sign up for the service.
