MORE than 850 people attended a conference that examined investment opportunities arising from a move to reduce share lot sizes from 1,000 to 100 units.

A range of expert speakers explained what the changes - which take effect Jan 19 - will mean for investors.

The event was jointly organised by the Singapore Exchange and ShareInvestor, the financial media and technology company and a subsidiary of Singapore Press Holdings (SPH).

Speakers included Mr David Kuo, chief executive of The Motley Fool Singapore, Mr Wong Chin Loon, Product Development Director at Nikko AM Asia, Ms Carmen Lee, Head of OCBC Investment Research at OCBC Bank and Mr Tony Mallek, chief financial officer of SPH.
