SINGAPORE - Mainboard-listed construction firm MMP Resources said on Monday (Dec 12) that it was served with a writ of summons on Dec 9, filed by Mr Edward Lee Ewe Ming for a claim of S$5.22 million.

The company is disputing the claims made by Mr Lee in the writ and is in the process of seeking legal advice on the matter, it said in a filing with the Singapore Exchange.

In a separate filing, MMP Resources said that Mr Lee has been granted leave by the court to withdraw a winding up application he filed against the company by Monday, with costs of the withdrawal to be borne by him.
