1 Gold held near a one-month high as investors weighed the need for a safe haven before the United States presidential election and a hedge against higher US interest rates, said Bloomberg.

2 SGX-listed DeClout is selling its indirect stake in Asia Wiring Systems (Cambodia) to Mr Ly Sakhun for US$570,000 (S$790,000).

3 Suntec Reit manager ARA Trust Management said 55 per cent of the $296 million raised from convertible bonds funded the purchase of the stake in the Southgate complex in Melbourne, Victoria.

4 China Star Food was been served with a writ of summons on Thursday, filed by CCH in the High Court. CCH is claiming more than $2.5 million in damages over breaches of a sale and purchase agreement in 2014.
