1 So far in June, 22.8 million shares have been repurchased for $62.2 million on the local bourse. In May, the number of shares bought back was 51.8 million for a consideration of $125.1 million, the SGX said.

2 The SGX All Healthcare Index has secured a 1.7 per cent total return so far this year. The five largest index weights are Haw Par, Raffles Medical, Religare Health Trust, First Reit and IHH Healthcare - averaging a 9.4 per cent total return.

3 Trek 2000's audit committee has appointed RSM Corporate Advisory to review the firm's related-party transactions. RSM will also check for suspicious transactions.

4 Swiber's subsidiary, Swiber Offshore Construction and Sime Darby Engineering, commenced arbitration proceedings on June 1 in India against an Asian oil and gas multinational. This relates to a process platform job there.

5 Property firm Tuan Sing Holdings has entered a 90:10 joint venture with Habitat Properties to develop a Batam site into a township with hotels, tourist attractions and homes.
