1 Fitch Ratings has assigned United Overseas Bank's $750 million, 4 per cent securities a rating of "BBB". The securities qualify as Additional Tier 1 capital securities of the bank under the Basel III regime.

2 Property firm Roxy-Pacific will renovate its newly acquired Maldives resort, Zitahli Kuda-Funafaru, before opening it early next year. It will be the second under Roxy's premium Noku brand, after the first in Japan's Kyoto.

3 Yuuzoo's auditors were unable to give an opinion on the financial statements for the year ended Dec 31, due to the lack of comparable business models. It could not say if the estimates met revenue recognition criteria.

4 SingPost director Keith Tay, who has been at the centre of a corporate governance saga at the firm, stepped down from the board yesterday. He has been a director since April 25, 1998.

5 FJ Benjamin, which has been on the minimum trading price watch-list since March 3, said it is monitoring the situation and considering all options.
