Markets highlights

1 The ringgit posted its biggest two-day loss in a month and Malaysian stocks snapped a run of gains, partly due to falls in the oil price, said Bloomberg. Analysts say the ringgit is still 28 per cent undervalued.

2 The Singapore Exchange and National Stock Exchange will list four sector-specific India futures contracts, Reuters reported.

3 Keppel Telecommunications & Transportation unit Keppel Data Centres will collaborate with National Supercomputing Centre on high-performance processes focused on data centres and related areas.

4 Novo Group, which is on the SGX watch list, said it expects an improved operating environment. It aims to develop its international trading business and tin-plate manufacturing.

5 Steel firm Oriental Group's audit committee will convene an independent review into two unauthorised transactions last year involving two of its units in China.
