1 Malaysia's ringgit weakened for a fourth straight day ahead of the nation's Budget tomorrow, with Maybank saying premier Najib Razak will raise taxes to offset the loss of oil revenue, Bloomberg reported.

2 Stratech has won a contract to upgrade Changi Airport's runway surveillance and detection systems. The new set-up will give a panoramic view of the runway and a sharper vision of any objects on the strip.

3 Changi Airport Group CEO Lee Seow Hiang was named the region's top travel business leader by CNBC.

4 MMP Resources said it will report a net loss for the third quarter, mainly due to additional listing and legal fees and operating expenses incurred in its restructuring and fund-raising processes.

5 Property player Heeton Holdings said it received applications for 63.15 per cent of the rights shares it has offered.
