1 JPMorgan Chase's chief executive Jamie Dimon has indicated third-quarter revenue was a shade lower than a year earlier, CNBC said. Rivals Bank of America and Citigroup have flagged similar declines.

2 Cosco Corp (Singapore) said it has checked with its parent China Ocean Shipping (Group) and its proposed significant transaction which may have an impact on the unit here is still being studied. Given this uncertainty, shares of Cosco here are still suspended.

3 China Essence said it is still seeking details of unauthorised transactions from the former management to respond to queries from the SGX. The transactions were made by former executive chairman and chief executive Zhao Libin.

4 Asiatravel.com said that Shenzhen-listed ZhongHong, which owns 11.41 per cent of the travel website, is buying the stakes of several shareholders, giving it 51 per cent and triggering a general offer for Asiatravel.com.

5 Neo Group is planning to buy 90 per cent of CT Vegetables & Fruits for $5.4 million. CT offers more than 300 different varieties of fruit and vegetables and has a wide customer base including local hospitals and cruise ships.
