1 The week is over but the question is whether the selling pressure will continue into Monday. Noble Group sank 12.5 per cent to 45.5 cents in volume more than six times the three-month average, Bloomberg noted. The shares lost 40 per cent last month.

2 Ascendas India Trust has completed its acquisition of multi-tenanted IT building aVance 3 in Hyderabad. The trust paid 2.94 billion rupees (S$63 million) for the building, which has multinational anchor tenants such as ValueLabs.

3 The five best performers of the FTSE ST Mid Cap Index for the year to date are from a mix of sectors. They are SATS, SIIC Environment, Raffles Medical, Biosensors International and Wing Tai.

4 Straits Trading is buying a Melbourne office building. The price is A$125 million (S$125.1 million). The building sits on a freehold site of 1,858 sq m and has 22 levels of office space, one level of ground retail space and two basement carparks.

5 The firms which spent the most on share buybacks last month were Noble Group, trying to support its share price, Genting Singapore, Pacific Century Regional Developments, ST Engineering and Keppel Corp. The SGX report said the firms spent about $83 million.
