1 Oil prices rose, rebounding slightly from sharp losses sparked by a report that Saudi Arabia was close to completing an oilfield expansion, Agence France-Presse said.

2 Construction and property firm BBR Holdings says it expects to report a net loss for the first quarter ended March 31.

3 Thumb-drive maker Trek 2000 International has asked for a voluntary suspension of its shares. Its auditors have made a report to the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority over documentation deficiencies.

4 Maker of Gardenia and Bonjour bread QAF said profit rose 25 per cent to $16.4 million for the first quarter ended March 31. Revenue declined 2 per cent to $250.9 million.

5 Eratat Lifestyle, which is under judicial management, says the judicial manager is negotiating with target companies on the transfer of the company's listing status. No agreement has been reached.
