A Roxy-Pacific unit has acquired a commercial office building, NZI Centre at 1 Fanshawe Street, Auckland, New Zealand, for NZ$63 million (S$62 million). It has five storeys and a basement.

Mapletree Logistics Trust has issued $180 million in perpetual securities with a fixed rate of 3.65 per cent.

SGX-listed Khong Guan's net profit rose from $58,000 to $1.25 million for the year ended July 31. Revenue fell 2.7 per cent to $57.1 million. Khong Guan trades wheat flour and other consumer products.

DBS Bank and Chubb have signed a 15-year distribution partnership covering Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia and China. Chubb offers insurance for home contents, for example.

5 Hupsteel bought back 117,000 of its shares at prices of between 80 cents and 81 cents for a total sum of $94,856.
