Market highlights

1 The offer for Sunshine bread maker Auric Pacific closes on April 7 at 5.30pm. Trading of the shares will be suspended on April 10 and the counter will be delisted on April 17. The offer price of $1.65 is final.

2 There are four listed thermal coal miners: Geo Energy; Resources Prima; BlackGold Natural Resources; and Golden Energy and Resources. Geo and BlackGold have seen triple-digit returns over the past 12 months.

3 Wee Hur has secured a $22.8 million redevelopment project from PUB. It will erect a six-storey block and make additions and alterations to the existing WaterHub Building in Toh Guan Road East.

4 Sunpower has set up a wholly owned unit in China called Changyi Sunpower Clean Energy, with a registered capital of 50 million yuan (S$10.2 million). It will supply heat transfer oil to enterprises.

5 Property player Koh Brothers bought back 25,000 of its shares at 28.5 cents each for a total outlay of $7,160.
