1 Keppel Corp has bought back 186,000 of its shares at between $6.83 and $6.89 apiece for a total of $1.28 million.

2 Bank lending dipped 0.04 per cent in January from a month earlier, after rising 1.1 per cent in December, as business loans weakened slightly. Lending in January was up 2.8 per cent on the same month in 2016.

3 Yongnam Holdings fell deeper into the red last year, with a net loss of $31.6 million, up from $3.3 million a year earlier. Revenue grew 19.2 per cent to $321.4 million due to its structural steelwork and mechanical engineering units.

4 Tiong Seng Contractors, part of mainboard-listed Tiong Seng Holdings, has won a $113.8 million contract at Alexandra View by FEC Skyline. This brings its construction order book to about $1 billion.

5 Mainboard-listed Straco Corporation, which operates tourist attractions such as the Singapore Flyer, reported net profit falling 5.2 per cent to $46.5 million for the year ended Dec 31, while revenue was 2 per cent lower at $125.2 million.
