Market highlights

1 Noble Group has completed a US$1 billion (S$1.4 billion) revolving borrowing facility, which will be used by its unit, Noble Clean Fuels, to support operations such as working capital loans and the issuance of trade finance instruments.


2 Libra Group said it has agreed to allow the refund of a deposit it had paid in two tranches. The deposit is repayable to Libra following an aborted deal to invest in Neptune Aviation.


3 Design Studio Group has posted a 21.7 per cent rise in net profit to $20.5 million. Revenue for the 12 months to Dec 31 was up 7.2 per cent at $179 million. Final and special dividends totalling 5.25 cents a share were proposed.


4 AV Jennings said its net profit fell by 14.5 per cent to A$14.1 million (S$15.3 million) for the half-year ended Dec 31 . The directors have declared an unchanged interim dividend of 1.5 Australian cents a share.


5 OCBC Bank yesterday purchased 100,000 of its own shares at $9.49 apiece under a share buyback mandate.
