Market highlights

1 Fullerton Fund has made its first bond issue, comprising a five-year $50 million tranche and a seven-year $50 million tranche. It is the first Asian issuer to tap the investment grade market post-Brexit.

2 Yanlord Land will work with China Merchants Property Development and Poly Real Estate to develop a 170,000 sq m site in Nanjing. The total consideration for the land parcel was 4.82 billion yuan (S$978 million).

3 Abterra said it has agreed with the vendor that the date to acquire a commercial property in Beijing be extended by six months to Dec 31.

4 Mainboard-listed Chiwayland has acquired a 114,270 sq m site in Penrith, Sydney, for A$40 million (S$40.2 million) to develop around 400 apartments and 364 townhouses. This is its seventh property project in Australia.

5 Soilbuild Construction Group has raised its investment in SB Procurement from $3 million to $6.5 million to strengthen its capital base and meet the minimum paid-up share capital requirement for an A2 grading.
