1. Alibaba Group is investing in Israeli start-up Twiggle to tap its search technology and solidify its lead in Chinese e-commerce, sources say. The buy could help Alibaba improve online-shopping searches, Bloomberg reported.

2 GSH is issuing $60 million of notes at a rate of 5.15 per cent. They will likely be issued next Tuesday and mature in 2019. Executive chairman Sam Goi and chief executive officer Gilbert Ee will take up about 55.8 per cent of the issue.

3. StarHub has priced the offering of $300 million of notes. The notes are expected to be issued next Wednesday and mature in 2026, and will bear interest at 3.55 per cent per annum.

4. HL Global Enterprises said the Singapore Exchange has given it an extension of 12 months up to June 3 next year to meet the criteria to exit the SGX watch list.

5. Interplex Holdings, which was the subject of a privatisation offer, said its delisting from the Singapore Exchange will take effect from 9am next Wednesday.
