Lunch Actually Group raises funds for expansion in series A funding round

SINGAPORE - Homegrown dating service provider Lunch Actually Group has caught the eye of investors.

The firm said on Tuesday it raised a seven-digit sum in a series A round of funding from several investors, including Mixi, an online Japanese social networking service and publisher of a popular mobile game called Monster Strike.

Others include Fatfish Internet Group, an Internet ventures investment and development firm based in South-east Asia and Australia.

Lunch Actually was founded in 2004 by spouses Ms Violet Lim and Mr Jamie Lee.
