Start-up Ninja Van took logistics here to the next level, with technology that allows more efficient last-mile deliveries. Businesses on its cloud platform can use the spare capacity of other fleets to fulfil deliveries. The company - co-founded by (clockwise from top of van) Mr Tan Boxian, Mr Shaun Chong and Mr Lai Chang Wen - was yesterday cited by Finance Minister Heng Swee Keat in Parliament as a good example of a business that has tried new ideas to solve old problems. He also lauded its move to expand into the region, with help from IE Singapore.
