Keppel Gas signs framework deal to buy LNG from Malaysia's Petronas

SINGAPORE - Keppel Infrastructure Holdings, through its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, Keppel Gas, has entered into a framework agreement with Malaysia's Petronas LNG to purchase up to one million tonnes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) a year, over 10 years.

The deal is conditional upon Keppel Gas obtaining the approval and import licence from Singapore's Energy Market Authority.

The LNG will be sourced globally from Petronas LNG's extensive and growing portfolio of LNG supply.

The deal will bolster Keppel Gas' portfolio of natural gas and allow Keppel Gas to offer competitive gas supply options to its customers in Singapore.

Currently, Keppel Gas has two existing agreements with Petronas for piped natural gas.
