Keppel Data Centres enlists Epsilon to help clients scale cloud services

SINGAPORE - Keppel Data Centres Holdings, a subsidiary of Keppel Telecommunications & Transportation (Keppel T&T), has selected Epsilon to deliver local access networks in Singapore, IP Transit services and global connectivity.

Keppel Data Centres will be able to support the networking needs of its customers using Epsilon's flexible network infrastructure as a service offering, enabling them to scale their cloud services globally.

Mr Thomas Pang, chief executive officer of Keppel T&T, said: "By offering network infrastructure as a service, our clients will enjoy enhanced connectivity and flexibility when they need to incorporate cloud infrastructure to scale up quickly."

Epsilon, a privately owned global communications service provider, has local fibre infrastructure connecting data centre sites and enterprise locations in Singapore to its global network spanning Europe, the Middle East, North America and Asia-Pacific.

Keppel Data Centres Holdings was formed in January 2011 as a 70-30 joint venture company between Keppel T&T and Keppel Land to consolidate their data centre assets and position the business for further growth. The company currently manages and operates more than 190,000 sq ft of data centre and business continuity and disaster recovery centre space in Singapore.
