SINGAPORE - Mainbard-listed financial services firm IFS Capital has a new CEO.
It announced on Monday (Oct 12) that Mr Eugene Tan Hai Leng has been appointed the new group chief executive officer and executive director with effect from Monday (Oct 12).
He takes over in both capacities from Mr Lee Soon Kie who will also be stepping down from his other directorships and appointments in the IFS group of companies.
Mr Tan has 32 years of experience in the banking industry. From 1999 to 2013, he was with Citibank Singapore where he helped to start the commercial banking business here. In 2007, he became its managing director for commercial banking with responsibiity for the Asean region.
Mr Tan also became a senior credit officer with Citibank Singapore, a recognition of his competency in risk management, said IFS Capital.
