HONG KONG (AFP) - Hong Kong stocks jumped 0.48 per cent in the opening exchanges on Friday, resuming a recent uptrend, following another record close for Wall Street.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index added 109.54 points to 23,119.68 in the first few minutes.
