Greek stocks end the day up more than 11 per cent

ATHENS (AFP) - The Greek stock market ended the day Tuesday up more than 11 per cent, boosted by hopes of a deal between the new radical-left government in Athens and the country's international creditors.

The general index rose by 11.27 per cent to reach 841 points, after Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis set out the government's plans to renegotiate its mountain of debt.
