Donald Trump's hotel group seals deal to manage resort in Bali, its first in Asia

SINGAPORE - Trump Hotel Collection has reached an agreement with MNC Group, Indonesia's leading investment group, to manage a six-star luxury resort and residential development in Asia.

Situated in Bali, atop the southwest coast and set against the Indian Ocean and renowned Tanah Lot temple, this development will be Trump Hotel Collection's first resort in Asia.

The Trump Hotel Collection is managed by Mr Donald Trump and his three grown children - Donald Jr, Ivanka and Eric.

Bali is consistently voted as one of the world's best islands and is one of the best resort and residential destinations globally," said Donald Trump Jr, executive vice president of development and acquisitions of The Trump Organization.

He added: "This is an exciting time for Trump Hotels and we are honored to announce our expansion into Asia and bring to market an extraordinary luxury property."

The official signing ceremony took place last Friday and was hosted by Mr Trump and Mr Hary Tanoesoedibjo, chief executive of MNC Group.

Mr Tanoesoedibjo said: "I am personally very pleased to bring the Trump brand into Indonesia. The Trump family's personal involvement and global proven success, is set out to elevate Bali's expectations for 'luxury and excellence'. Alongside our experience as a world-class developer, we are eager to develop the largest and most integrated lifestyle resort destination in Bali."

Established in 1989, MNC Group engages in financial investments and focuses on three strategic fields - media, financial services and property.
