Boustead Singapore wins $20m contract to build Airbus Asia Training Centre

SINGAPORE - Boustead Singapore has been awarded a contract worth more than $20 million to build the Airbus Asia Training Centre in Seletar Aerospace Park.

This will bring the value of its order book to more than $315 million, said the firm in a statement on Tuesday.

The two-storey building will have two wings for flight simulator halls and will be next to the Satair Airbus Singapore Centre.

This is Boustead's seventh project at the aerospace park, which is home to a number of global aerospace firms such as the Pratt and Whitney group.

The contract is not expected to have any significant impact on the earnings per share of the firm for the financial year ended Mar 31, it said.

Boustead's shares closed half a cent up at $1.75 on Tuesday evening.
