Addvalue Technologies' unit says its terminal has completed a year of testing

SINGAPORE - A unit of mainboard-listed communications technology firm Addvalue Technologies said on Tuesday that its terminal has successfully completed a year of what it calls "on-orbit testing".

The inter-satellite data relay system, used by the terminal, is "an innovative new service that addresses a long standing constraint on the operation of low earth orbit satellites", said Addvalue Innovation.

The firm said the tests showed that communications based on the system " can significantly improve the operation" of such satellites.

The firm said it plans to make the system commercially ready, as it will open new market opportunities for operators of such spacecraft and more.
