CNA to work with Tama Home to develop homes for Japanese workers in Thailand

CNA Group said on Monday that it is collaborating with Tokyo Stock Exchange- listed Tama Home to co-develop homes for the Japanese community in Thailand and its real estate partner in Thailand.

They are to co-develop a 6,400 square metres real estate development that consists of premier service apartments and residential buildings in Sriracha, a city south of Bangkok, which is expected to have a highly significant contribution to the Group.

Japan is Thailand's largest trading partner and the Japanese are the largest group of investors in Thailand.

The company said there are a few thousand Japanese businesses that have presence in Thailand and these include the Toyota Group and the Sumitomo Corporation.

The workforce of about 150,000 Japanese in Thailand represents a very significant market segment, CNA and Tama added.
