China starts anti-dumping probe against European wines

BEIJING (REUTERS) - China formally launched on Monday an investigation into whether Europe is unfaily subsidising and dumping its wines in the Chinese market, potentially adding to trade frictions between the world's second-largest economy and its biggest trade partner.

The Ministry of Commerce said in a statement on its website that it received an application for the probe from a domestic association representing Chinese wine producers in May.
