Teen Dutch couple jailed for inciting Facebook murder

Buy SPH photosTHE HAGUE (AFP) - A teenage Dutch couple was jailed on Monday for inciting another adolescent to stab a girl to death for allegedly posting derogatory comments on Facebook.
The 16-year-old female defendant, identified only as "Polly" because of her age, was handed the maximum sentence for a minor by the eastern Arnhem court.
"She was jailed for two years and sent to a youth psychiatric facility for three years, one suspended," court spokesman Marlou Nijland told AFP.
Her accomplice and boyfriend at the time, identified as 18-year-old Wesley C., received the same sentence.
