STOCKHOLM (AFP) - Sweden's Princess Madeleine will marry her US-British fiance in Stockholm in June, the palace announced on Sunday.

"The marriage between Princess Madeleine and Christopher O'Neill will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2013, in the Royal Palace chapel in Stockholm," it said in a brief statement.

Princess Madeleine, 30, is the youngest child of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia and fourth in line to the throne.

The couple met in New York, where the Princess has been living since April 2010 after a broken engagement to a Stockholm lawyer alleged by media to have cheated on her.
