Police storm Ukraine opposition headquarters: Party

KIEV (AFP) - Ukrainian riot police on Monday stormed the Kiev headquarters of jailed opposition leader Yulia Tymoshenko's Batkivshchyna (Fatherland) party, a party spokeswoman said.

"The Berkut (riot police) have occupied the central headquarters of Batkivshchyna," party spokeswoman Marina Soroka wrote on her Facebook account.

"They are breaking down doors."
