Magnitude-6.8 quake strikes off the coast of southern Peru
LIMA, Peru (AP) - Geologists say a magnitude-6.8 earthquake has struck off the Pacific coast of south-western Peru.
There are no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
The United States Geological Survey says it struck 140km south-west of Nazca at 11.43am local time at a depth of 33km.
The quake was mildly felt in Lima, 500km from its epicentre.
