JERUSALEM (AFP) - Israeli warplanes struck Syrian army positions overnight, just hours after a bomb on the occupied Golan Heights wounded four of its soldiers, the military said on Wednesday.
The overnight bombing raids came after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that Israel would act "forcefully" to defend itself following the Golan attack, which left one soldier severely wounded.
