Child found in US kidnap case is abductee's daughter: Authorities
CHICAGO (AFP) - A six-year-old child recovered from a home in the US city of Cleveland where three women missing for a decade were found is the daughter of one of the abductees, police said on Tuesday.
Police confirmed the girl was the daughter of Ms Amanda Berry, whose dramatic escape from their captors on Monday evening led to the discovery of the other two women, Ms Gina DeJesus and Ms Michele Knight.
Three brothers in their 50s have been arrested over the case.
Pedro Castro, 54, Ariel Castro, 52, and Oneil Castro, 50 have been taken into custody.
