Armed men kidnap priest in Crimea's Sevastopol: church

KIEV (AFP) - Armed men on Saturday kidnapped the priest of a Ukrainian Greek Catholic church in the Crimean naval port of Sevastopol after repeatedly warning him to leave Ukraine's predominantly Russian peninsula, the church said.

The local diocese of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church said the armed assailants burst into the church and seized the priest, driving him away to an unknown destination, adding that the priest was no longer answering his mobile phone.
