Arizona woman knocks down husband with SUV over election dispute
GILBERT, Arizona (AP) - Police in Arizona said a woman ran over her husband with an SUV because he did not vote in last week's presidential election.
Authorities said Holly Solomon opposed President Barack Obama and was upset that her husband did not go to the polls.
Solomon chased her husband through a parking lot, circled him as he hid behind a light pole, struck him and pinned him under the vehicle as he tried to flee.
She told police that she was just trying to scare him but accidentally stepped on the accelerator.
