American teacher shot dead in Libya's Benghazi: Hospital
BENGHAZI (AFP) - An American teacher was shot dead in Benghazi on Thursday, 15 months after a deadly attack on the United States consulate in Libya's second city, medical and security officials said.
The dead man worked at the city's international school, a Benghazi Medical Centre official said.
A security official confirmed the teacher had been shot dead while taking his morning jog in the central Al-Fwihet neighbourhood of the city.
Private television channel Al-Naba reported that a US citizen had been killed, but gave no further details.
